FIRE PERMITS
Within the Larkspur Fire Protection District (LFPD), all outdoor burning of wood or vegetation requires a permit issued by the LFPD.

To Request a Burn Permit:

Please read the Campfire Regulations prior to making your request. 

  1. If the location you would like to have your fire at has not been previously inspected and approved, call the LFPD at 303.681.3284 during Normal Business Hours - Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. excluding holidays, to set up an inspection appointment.  Inspections for fire location are made during these Normal Business Hours - Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. excluding holidays and should be requested at least One Week Prior to the date you would like to have a fire. 
  2. Burn permits will only be issued during Normal Business Hours - Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. excluding holidays,Permit requests must be submitted at least Two Business Days prior to the date you would like to have your fire.  Permit Requests submitted without the Two Business Days notice will not be granted.
  3. Your fire permit can be emailed to you, picked up at the LFPD Administrative Office or it can be faxed to you.  You must have the permit available on site when you burn.
  4. After your fire location has been approved, please click on the link below to request a permit.
