Engine 161

Engine 161 is a 2005 Pierce Enforcer Chassis. E161 is designed as a Rescue Pumper to handle the vast array of calls recieved by the Larkspur Fire District. E161 responds to all incidents within the entire district so it carries various tools to handle rescues, hazardous material incidents, and emergency medical calls. It is also equipped with a class A foam system for structural fires as well as structure protection during urban interface fires. E161 carries 500 gallons if water and 30 gallons of Class A foam. TNT Hydraulic Rescue tools are preconnected and carried in the front bumper and the driver side rear compartment for quick deployment at our numerous auto accidents we respond to almost daily along Interstate 25. It also has an on board 10kw generator with a 6000 watt light tower for scene lightning and two electric cord reels for supplying power to crews working scenes.
